You need to understand that when you are cleaning a coffee machine, all parts of the machine must be completely removed. This includes the water pump, filter holder, and the unit itself. To keep the parts working properly, it is important to remove the water pump first.

Remove the water pump by unscrewing the water pump screw. Once the water pump is removed, the water pump casing should be taken off. The water pump is usually held in place by two screws which you will be able to remove.

Once the water pump is removed, you can then see the components. These parts include the filter holder, the filter housing, and the dripper/drip basket. The dripper is attached to the dripper basket with a copper washer.

To clean the water pump, you will first need to get some cleaner out. You will need to use a spray bottle with water. Once you have enough cleaner to cover the area, wipe down the inside of the pump motor. Be sure to remove any grime that may be there.

Once you have thoroughly cleaned the water pump, take the pump motor and remove the four nuts holding it in place. Once you have removed the nuts, take the motor apart. You will now see the screws that hold the components together.

First, use a Phillips screwdriver and remove the nut. Then, unscrew the water pump. The water pump should now be free to move back and forth. While the water pump is being removed, make sure to remove any dirt or grease that may be on the copper washer.

When you have done this, you will want to turn the water pump assembly over so that the flat area is facing you and the nut is pointing to the right direction. You can then screw the nut back in place.

With the water pump out of the way, you can then proceed to clean the drip tray. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the two screws holding the drip tray body in place.

Now that the drip tray is out of the way, you can now remove the drip tray by removing the four nuts that are holding it in place. Once the drip tray is out, you can then unscrew the two screws that hold the drip tray in place.

Now that the drip tray is out of the way, you can now take the four screws holding the water pump in place and remove them. Place a drop of water on the flat side of the screw and wipe it off using a dry cloth. Make sure to check the resistance to make sure it is correct.
